For those who love Venice Lido, Villa Jolanda (also known as Villa Jankoumir) is one of the most admired Liberty villas of the area, completed in 1931 by architect Rubens Corrado for the noblewoman Elisa Venier. The simplicity of the plan seems designed to enhance the decorative details, some absolutely impossible to find in similar buildings on the Island - such as the wooden battlements of the eaves frame, the floral and plant-like friezes of windows and the "dentelli" string course that follows the entire perimeter. We can find typical elements of the Art Nouveau like the frieze with plant motifs of the balustrades and the vegetal/floral motifs of the round arches on the entrance portico. From the main entrance, proceeding through the pleasant garden with flowers and a central fountain, you can reach the staircase that leads to the picturesque porch shaded by vines, where to enjoy the hottest hours of the day. The villa has always been beloved by all its owners who have kept unchanged the interior spaces and finishes of the era. In particular, we find decorated ceramic floors, parquet in the bedrooms, elegant blown glass, wood interior doors with the original iron parts. The villa hosted some of the protagonists of 20th century Italian artistic history, thanks to the patronage of its past owners.

The villa is located close to the seaside of the Lido in an elegant and quiet Art Nouveau district in 2nd row to the beach promenade. Just a stone's throw away it will take place the annual ceremony of the Golden Lion in the context of the Venice Film Festival.
