Japan’s Biggest Premium Shopping Outlet Expands in Gotemba

The largest premium shopping outlet in Japan will open in Gotemba this April. Gotemba Premium Outlets will expand with additional storefront and space to include over 210 high-end fashion brands both domestic and international forming Japan’s biggest premium shopping outlet. Gotemba Premium Outlets is located at the base of Mt. Fuji, which has been deemed a UNESCO world heritage site.

This is the outlet's fourth expansion and will add around 17,000 square meters of new store frontage along with 90 additional stores. Gotemba Premium Outlets is around a 1 and a half-hour car ride or a 2 and a half-hour train ride from Tokyo. If taking the train a free shuttle bus will pick you up from Gotemba Station.

Some of the new stores opening will be the company’s first location in Japan. Some of these stores are Tom Browne, J&M Davidson, Numero Ventuno, Converse Tokyo and Yanuk. Other famous brands that will open at the outlet will be Virgil Abloh’s OFF WHITE, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Moleskin.
