100 Store Shopping Complex Opening in Yokosuka

Coaska Bayside Stores, a new commercial shopping facility in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, will have its grand opening on Friday, April 24th, 2020. Coaska Bayside Stores is a newly renovated shopping mall that sits on the site of former Shoppers Plaza Yokosuka. It is a 3-minute walk from Shioiri Station on the Keikyu Main Line and is easily accessible by train or car. There are more than 100 gourmet, shopping, and entertainment stores inside the 6-story complex.

The facility's theme is "EAT, SHOP, and ENJOY."

The highlight of the new facility is the food court, which will be the largest in the Yokosuka area. Additionally, there will be a new AEON supermarket, AEON STYLE Yokosuka, which will have a wide selection of fresh meat, fish, and vegetables unique to Yokosuka and the Miura Peninsula.

The shopping areas on the 2nd to 4th floors will act as a one-stop shopping space for fashion, interior goods, and cosmetics. H&M and Gap Outlet are some of the featured tenants. The 4th to 6th floors will have a cineplex, a bowling alley, athletic facilities, and book cafes. The movie theater Yokosuka HUMAX Cinemas will feature some of the most state-of-the-art audio equipment in Japan, and the bowling alley Sport Bowling Kingdom will be a retro-themed environment where you can experience American nostalgia.

Space Athletic Tondemi is a next-generation athletic facility that will be the first of its kind in Kanagawa Prefecture. Available activities will be trampolining and wall climbing.

The theme of Coaska Bayside Stores is "Historic Yokosuka" to honor the heritage of Yokosuka as a naval base. Visitors will be greeted by designs of ships and other maritime decorations.
