The Meguro Parasitological Museum

Ryūsenji Temple

Ryūsenji Temple was once a popular pilgrimage site during the Edo period. The spot became even more famous when it was used as a burial ground for the romantic couple Hirai Gonpachi and Komurasaki. The story of this couple has been told in in A.B. Mitford's Tales of Old Japan and numerous Kabuki plays.

Residents of the area take a walk around the magnificent temple for a peaceful moment. It is highly recommended to see its beauty with your own eyes.
