Customer Interview: Aaron Arakaki
Buying your dream home in Japan may sound difficult at first, but here at BeyondBorders we are here to assist customers from all over the world in that process. We recently conducted a post-sale interview with one of our customers, Aaron Arakaki. Mr. Arakaki, 59, was born and raised in Hawaii, where he now lives with his wife and two children. While enjoying the beauty of Hawaii, Mr. Arakaki runs a construction business and farm.
Mr. Arakaki decided to purchase a second house in Hokkaido, where he plans to visit frequently with his family. The house he decided to purchase is a spacious, four-bedroom house with a modern exterior. The house includes both western and Japanese style rooms, as well as a separate, large storage room on the second floor.
Mr. Arakaki first found out about BeyondBorders while searching for property in Hokkaido. To Mr. Arakaki, the friendly, energetic, young staff was a large plus, as they made communication smooth. He was able to speak English comfortably with our bilingual staff that helped guide him through the entire process. He mentioned that he liked being able to receive translations of important documents and specific instructions in English during the contract signing process.
When dealing with an international transaction, you may be wondering how it is possible to keep in contact with us. Mr. Arakaki, being in Hawaii, found it very easy to communicate with us through a variety of methods. At first, we communicated with him through texting and email, but after he installed the LINE application, he could make international calls for an extremely low price of $0.01 per minute and exchange messages free of cost. Being able to send messages was useful to Mr. Arakaki, as he could keep track of what he had asked and our responses. Overall, Mr. Arakaki was extremely satisfied with the service he received and would recommend it to others.
