Yokohama Mixed-Use Luxury Condominium Launching in April

'Kitanaka Brick & White,' a new mixed-use condominium project, is scheduled to open in Yokohama on April 23rd. 'Kitanaka Brick & White' will be directly connected to Bashamichi Station on the Minato Mirai line.

Kitanaka Brick & White will include residential units at "The Tower Yokohama Kitanaka" slated to be the largest high-class condominium tower in Yokohama. In addition to residential units, the facility will also include "Oakwood Suites Yokohama," a long and short term hotel facility that will be the first of its kind in the city. A Yokohama cultural center will also open on the lower floors of the building.

Billboard Live Yokohama

One of the highlights of the new mixed-use building will be Billboard Live Yokohama. A new club and restaurant which is owned and operated by the American media/entertainment company Billboard, known globally for ranking popular songs on their Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 music charts. The venue will have a seating capacity of 300 and feature performances from local Japanese and international artists. Opening acts scheduled for June will include; American singer/actress Jane Birkin, Japanese rock band Superfly, and American R&B singer/producer Teddy Riley.

In addition, there will be a dance facility named "Dance Base Yokohama," which will focus on contemporary arts and performance dance. Some of the various restaurants and cafes will include Starbucks and Japanese organic seafood restaurant Kijima.
