Mega Apartment Complex Completed at Ariake Station

Sumitomo Realty, one of Japan's largest real estate developers, has completed construction of a new type of earthquake-resistant apartment complex in Tokyo's Koto Ward, named City Towers Tokyo Bay.

The property is located a 4-minute walk from Tokyo International Exhibition Center and a 3-minute walk from Ariake Station. City Towers Tokyo Bay consists of three buildings: the West Tower, which is 32 stories high; the Central Tower, and the East Tower, which are both 33 stories high; and a shared building, which is three stories tall. Sumitomo Realty has been developing the complex since 2011 as a residential area of Ariake Garden, the largest combined development in Tokyo, with a total development area of 10.7 hectares.

So far, 1,230 units have gone up for sale, and 837 units have been placed under contract. More than 8,400 inquiries have been received about the property, and around 7,800 visitors have come to visit the model showroom.
The 402 units currently on sale range from 1LDK to 3LDK types and have sizes ranging from 38 to 100 square meters. Selling prices start from 50 million yen ($465,197 USD) and go up to 160 million yen ($1.4 million USD).
